The HTML toolbar is accessible whenever the HTML view is activated (e.g. by selecting a HTM(L) file or a CHM topic in the Project Window) and setting the cursor into a phrase:
The HTML toolbar consists of six parts:

Protection Level:
Set protection level 1:
If protection level 1 is enabled (orange background color at the icon), the user can only delete the formatting tags he has inserted into the HTML source code. He will not be able to alter existing HTML tags.
Set protection level 2: (selected by default)
If protection level 2 is enabled (orange background color at the icon), the user can delete all the formatting tags he has inserted into the HTML source code. In addition to this he is allowed to move existing HTML tags (i.e. a link tag) within the source code.
Set protection level 3:
If protection level 3 is enabled (orange background color at the icon), the user can delete ALL tags within the HTML source code. In addition to this he is allowed to move existing HTML tags (i.e. a link tag) within the source code.
|
We do not recommend using protection level 3. Because with this level the risk of one or more deleted HTML tags in the original source code is very high. In addition to this there is also no UNDO functionality available if a HTML tag was accidentally deleted!
